Happy Independence Day! above are a few shots from a 4th of July tabletop. I collaborated with my friend Ed Roth of Stencil1 who added the stars to a hand dyed burlap runner. Summer flowers meandering across in various copper and rusted containers include Chamomile, Zinnias, Queen Anne's Lace, Explosion Grass, Cornflowers, Guam Flowers Black Eyed Susans and Gomphrena. The brown medicine bottles, beeswax candles and other vintage doodads create a rustic Americana Charm deviating from the expected literal red white and blue 4th of July we know so well.
With Health care passed I don't feel so bad celebrating this year- let's see how it shapes up.
